October Annual Members Meeting Update

Annual October Meeting

 

We wanted to give you an update on the Annual Meeting, which was held on Tuesday 10/21/25.  Unfortunately, we were unable to establish a quorum of homeowners, which is 30% of all homes in the community.  An informal forum was held to answer questions for those in attendance

 

As scheduled – an organizational meeting was held after closing the informal session in lieu of the annual meeting (as posted)  and below is the updated Torey Pines Board Of Directors Organization:

  • Nick Angelis, President

  • Tim Snodgrass, Vice President ( unchanged)

  • Fred Haramboure, Treasure ( unchanged)

  • Alex Miller, Director  

 

Note: We will nominate and fill the secretary position soon.

 

We still  have an opening on the Board, and have re-opened the application process so that anyone who would like to can apply .Please send an email to Silvana silvana@swpmcfl.com (our Community Access Manager (CAM) ) by November 5, 2025. She  will coordinate with you to complete the application.  We just need your name, address, bio, and why you want to be on the board.  The existing 4 board members (per by-laws) will choose a candidate from the applications sometime after November 5th.   Note – if you applied previously for purposes of the annual meeting, you do not need apply again.

 

2026 Draft Budget Review:

 

We did meet @ 6:30pm with open dialog to discuss the 2026 budget and questions from the 2025 current numbers.   We appreciate all that gave feedback and will be voting on the final budget in the November monthly meeting.

 

Website News

 

After Nov 1st You will be receiving an email regarding a login request confirmation that is required to be a member of the Torey Pines Community  Website (www.toreypines.com)

We are working on the homeowner login section and want to make sure everyone has a way to log in securely to see copies of minutes and other pertinent documents.  This is an additional resource on top of what is already on the SWPM homeowner portal.    Once you login, please update your information so it is current.  For this first wave of authentication, Please understand we are verifying the primary email address that is on record with SWPM.  Additional logins will be supported in the future.

 

If you do not receive an invitation to the website by November 10th – please go to toreypines.com and under “About US” – fill in the form requesting the primary account .

Committee Volunteers Needed:

 

We are going to start a few committees to help get input from the community about how to make things better.   If you are interested on being on one of these committees, please send an email to the Board at    trpbod@southwestpropertymanagement.comTennis Court Committee – need to update the rules to include pickleball and need to evaluate re-surfacing of tennis courts

  2. Landscaping Committee – if you have some ideas about how to make the landscaping better, please join this committee

  3.  Website Committee – to review / suggest information news and overall look of the website.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the November Meeting scheduled for November 18th, 2025 @ 6:30pm ET.  Please remember that everything we do is to make Torey Pines a better place to live.
